About us

History

Toikako´s history goes back to the beginning year of the restoration of Estonia's independence, to the year 1992. While visiting the exhibition, held in Finland for the food professionals, the chance were taken to start to represent in Estonia the world´s largest spice company McCormick. The business proved to be successful and expanded rapidly. In response to growing demand we started to supply additionally food additives, accessories and knives, work wear for professionals, natural casings, packaging etc. Relationships with all big and smaller meat and fish industries, dairies and beverage industries were established and built. Continuing the mutual growth we decided 2001 expand the business even more and supply among the others the bakeries and confectionaries as well. Today our product range contains over 2000 products purchased all over the Europe. We are proud to represent in Estonia many internationally well-known companies- the food industry professionals. Together with them we organize seminars for our customers, which aims are to introduce new products, new technologies and new ideas.

Future means new ideas, new developments and also strong cooperation. We want to be a part of this and be the first ones offering new products and solutions for our customers in order to strengthen their competitiveness. Our goal is to lead, not to follow. Understanding customer needs is important to success and our contribution to success and positive feedback is a key part in our business.

Business idea

Our business philosophy is to offer to our customers the products and solutions from the best producers in the world, to maintain a high level of service and delivery assurance. Our business is not only to import the products, but also to produce client-basis blends and package sizes. We have our own production line, storehouse and refrigerated storehouse. So, we can control the quality and all the products are stored according to EC standards. In cooperation with our partners we arrange to our customers seminars, teaching new products and technologies at the customers or producers factory. We make trials and we help to implement new technologies in order to encourage innovation and creativity. We offer our experience and knowledge to find the best solution and the product for our customers. We grow together with our customers.
